I do not have technical background but I understand...
Adam, sluggishness when engine is hot is not common to turbo engine in particular. It is so felt particularly in weak/old engines (any).
Ranjit, the possible reason could be (1) the turbo-charger may not be able to boost intake energy/air (excess/unburnt fuel - white smoke - emitted out); OR (2) there could be leakage/weak compression (oil consumed by engine - black smoke emitted); OR (3) Fuel injection pump could be mal-functioning (required amount of fuel not injected - quantity & timing - for the turbo).
Get the car thoroughly checked. Your car being new / under warranty, the company has to set right the problem (whatever) FREE of cost.
