I am not comfortable meeting a group of strangers thus if my friend can accompany me.. well and good (Pankaj if you can tell me where the bungalow is located, I can try to get mine&his accommodation done at a nearby hotel) If he is not ready then I would have to scrap this whole meet up thing.

And Praveen I am not the one who would cash in for those "Free" stuff. I just didn't think that getting a buddy along would create such a mess. Please think twice before you type in such offensive comments.

Hi Adam,

I did not mean any offence to you.  Simply I wrote that if as per rules the friends are not permitted then why you want to scrap your participation.  No one is going there for the freebies. It will not create any fuss. Just what the mods have said follow them.

It just doesn't sound apt to me. If you are not comfortable meeting a group of *strangers*, you better be off the meet. It's not mandatory to attend it.

And your comment towards Praveen is totally uncalled for. You are asking him to watch his words, but you have just offended almost everybody in this forum. Do you think everybody attending the meet is cashing in free stuff? Most of the people are coming from outside of the Mumbai, spending their own money in travel and stuff.

I am letting you go this time, please be careful next time.

The words which Praveen used indirectly meant that I am getting my friends along to cash in for the free stay etc etc. I was really looking forward to the meet but you guys are impossible. Please cancel my participation and also if possible delete/ban my id. I'm better of going on a trip with friends rather than breaking my head to justify myself and that too for a petty note "Adam is getting a non-member friend along", I even read people coming with their wifes or family. Cmon guys I already mentioned that I could accommodate myself to a hotel nearby if you people have a mind boggling issue with my pal accompanying me.

I think objective of N.M. is to meet people one on one with whom we are discussing on daily basis and increase our bandwidth of knowledge.

one more idea that any first three members from the forum who reaches mumbai from outside Mumbai should be given a surprise gift by way of seeing the proof of ticket etc.

This is just to have some more Josh from the members outside Mumbai attending the meet.
