Hi Everyone- I know that I have been asking same question of new estilo being 3 cylinder car & would it be able to generate enough power. If you ask me personaly my freind who did the test drive when all 5 of us were sitting in the car he found the car to be powerful. But when I ask most of the people they say that it is just bcoz it was a new car. Once a 3 cylinder car gets 1-2 years old you will find that it doesnt generate enough power. I am just confused bcoz of lot of people saying it though my test drive on it was superb.

Dear Gaurav,

Please be sure Maruti will not axe it's own feet. It's absolutely impossible that a modern car will loose it's power in 1/2 years. Do not worry about this. Estilo is a good car and K10B engine which she is sporting is a good modern efficiant unit.

Please don't get confused Gaurav and simply go for Maruti New Estilo. I am sure it will give you complete satisfaction of your needs & pace of mind.

It takes less time to do things right than to explain why you did it wrong.

well, i have done TD for both cars i10 and estilo. what i find that . for i10 - its got better interiors, little more space, streeing light and for estilo first great new exteriors, good headroom, two toned dashboard nice but plastics could have been better, electrical externals ORVM S, precise gear, smooth pick up. now the money part, even 4 lkhs price i10 does not provide rear defogger, airbags, key less entry, rear seat head rest, where as estilo around 4.1lk has evrything. Now u tell which is more value for money.

as per the engine, estilo has the same engine as a star. and astar is right now the most fuel efficint car in small car segment, rightnow and estilo has the same engine, so i expect to perform the same for estilo.

Zen estilo is a wonderful car especially with the new engine (KB - 99x cc engine). It is a very successful engine that is excellent from the fuel efficiency perspective.

You can never compare one car which is the 2nd most succesful car (i10) and a car which is not liked by most (estilo - looks). Please do a test drive with your family and decide with your family.

Looks are personal, if everyone wants something that is best looking then I am sure most us (guys) wouldnt be married by this time. This is the reason why most of us say looks are personal. *no offence ment*

Estilo is not available for 4.1 with airbags? i think you need to check.

On-road Prices in ahmedabad:

New Estillo LXI- 3,91,800

New Estillo Vxi- 4,21,600

New Estillo Vxi with ABS- 4,53,700

I-10 Era- 4,07,000 (Free insurance & including third year warranty)

There is no offer on new estillo. Dealer may offer may be accessories worth Rs. 2K-3K.

Even I read in some other forum that Maruti has actually degraded an Estillo by putting 1L 3 cylinder engine instead of old 1.1L 4 cylinder engine. Also I think the rear seat is not very comfortable in estillo. Any comments?
