No issues Sandipan. LOL.

I just want to say Zen Estilo was (it's history now- from manufacturers,Frown) a really good car with great VFM, FE and performance. I did speak to many owners and most of them are satisfied if not all. I just request everyone to acknowledge that this car suits requirement of many and from some angles it is (ooops, was) a better buy that WagonR. The driving comfort in that segment is unparralal, specially for tall person. So just expect everyone to spare some respect for the car.

New one obviously looks better and more fuel efficient. Not too sure about performance as it does not perform at per with older one in hills.

Do you think that being a 3 cylinder car it will hamper performance. Other day I was talking to Maruty dealer & they were telling that each cylinder in estilo has 6 valves & earlier model had 4 valves. Therefore total # of valves now is 18 & earlier they were 16. Therefore pick up is not going to be bad when 5 people are sitting in the car & AC is on. Do you think this is right explanation that Maruti guys were giving to me or is it they were just making it up?

Not too sure about that. may be new one will be more exiting in higher speed, thus will cruise better on highways. but lower end torque and uphill pulling is definitely better in older one. No issues if you travel in plains, even in smaller hills. One can bet Estilo 2009 is a contemporary and "good to own car". A fresh one with new engine specs and trusted maruti ASS. One can easily and happily own one. no reason you should think any negative, Anyday better than WagonR and Santro.

hi everyone! I am also planning to buy a new car & short listed NEW ESTILO, I-10 & SPARK.

I am planning to keep a car for about 3-4 years. I think I-10 is more spacious than estillo & there is not much price difference between ESTILO LXI & I-10 ERA(after discount) since there is no discount on estilo. Can anybody suggest a best buy? thanks

I have heard from many people that i10 has average problems. I guess most of the people are suggesting to buy new estilo rather than Santro or Wagon R. Can I get some more reviews on new estilo. Till now most people have said that I should go for new estilo but can someone guide me hat are cons of buying it? And I am still stuck with answer on 3 cylinder car (New Estilo )or 4 cylinder car (Existing Santro or Wagon R).

Better to go for New Estilo.  But should wait for some time for offer as there is no offer on this vehicle.  I am owner of Old Estilo.  I found this vehicle better than i10 in terms of mileage, comfort and handling.  I think new estilo will be better than old estilo.  It gives me around 17km with AC on on highway and suspension is too good, you will not feel tired even after long journey.  I found following things missing in i10:

i) Immobilizer - An anti theft system which is very essential for your vehicle.  After parking your vehicle you may have complete peace of mind that your vehicle is safe and there is very less chances of theft.

ii) Shock absorbers : Shock absorbers of zen estilo are gas filled while in i10 it is hydraulic. Gas filled shockers give you comfortable drive and less fatigue.

iii) Defogger - Defogger is missing in i10.

iv) bigger boot space : boot space is better in estilo than i10.

Finally I would advise to take TD of all vehicles of your choice and make decision.

@ Gaurav, Why are you worried about no. of cylinders? New Estilo has enough power for city as well as highway driving thats it . Take TD and feel it.
