Hai Guys

Nice to hear good things. Want to buy a small car from Maruti and shortlisted New Estilo and Wagon R. I hears Wagon R vibrates at around 80Kmph but was not lucky to test drive it on the highway. Both seems good with refinesments especially the A/C, new Gear(Cable gear system) in WagonR. I want to keep the car for > 5yrs and looking for a good looking one and it seems Estilo looks good compared to WagonR.

 Please suggest with your experience

Hi Ravindar,

I am a proud and happy Estilo Vxi owner. If I had to choose between WagonR Vxi and Estilo Vxi, I would go for Estilo, because I found the looks to better in Estilo when compared to the New Wagon R. The Wagon R Vxi is a bit more spacious and have a built in Music system and a seat height adjustment. Apart from that all is more or less the same. The Estilo Vxi costs about 30k less than the Wagon R Vxi.

On the speeds of excess of 80, I have driven Estilo on Mumbai - Pune express way at 120 kmph and did not feel that bad. Estilo was very stable at speeds of 90 to 100. Remeber, these cars are not speeders and should not be used as one. The likes of Estilo, WagonRs are city cars and are very stable on good highways at speeds of 90s (which I think should be the max to travel on Indian highways).

I bought Estilo for city ride in Pune. It has been very good - the seats are a bit high so vision is good. Plus, please go for Vxi - you get all 4 power windows, rear wipers, defoggers, fog lamps (adds to the look plus beams extra "near" -light), electric control mirrors.

You can always fit in a 2-Din music system later, which will make your dashboard look great. Or you can ask your dealer to give discounts on accessories. This is year end, so you will get discounts - Estilo is a very good car, however has not had good sales, but it is excellent value for money.

Estilo VXi (2010), Hero Honda Pleasure (2007). Sold: HH CBZ Xtreme (2008-2010)

You can also take test drive for cheverlot beat or spark which is one of the best car in this segment and offer excellent features with very good mileage and above all it comes with three years maintance free offer from company which include everything inclusding engine oil cost also so take teest drive of gm cars also before making any decision

How is New Estilo for highway run? Anyone has experienced that? About previous model heard that it's unsafe for H/W usage, have vibrations on high speed.

Hi, I am owning the new estilo since last 7 months. I am absolutely happy with this car. the mileage is around 15 in city and 18.5 on highhway , I have driven this car upto 110 KMPH and felt nothing actually I have to take look on speedometer to avoid overspeeding. This is also my first car and I and my family (My wife and two sons aged 9 and 4) are very happy with the comfort, the interiors, the AC , the mileage.  One thing In wish to add is its manageability in city traffic . I am a new driver and I drive this car so easily in city traffic as I am driving a bike. Absolute comfort. Two thumbs up.
