Hi

I am also planning to buy new estilo in next couple of weeks...havent finalized between estilo/wagon R... (Santro - old model and i10 - bit costly)

Hi Neeraj,

I think Estilo is overprice, currently as Estilo On-road (including accessories) comes close to 4.10L (because of no discounts due to new model) whereas I10 Magna 1.2L On-road (inclusing accessories) comes close to 4.35L (because of discounts) so total difference is 25K & its worth it......because in 25K extra you are getting 1200 CC engine + much better comfort & interiors...........

Or go for WagonR as discounts will be there (should be around 3.8L including everything) + 1100 CC engine. Estilo comes with K-series engine with 1000CC but they claim as power is same as WagonR.

If you can spare bit extra then go for I10 Magna otherwise go for WagonR as I feel at current price Estilo is not VFM. Or wait for couple of months to get some discounts on Estilo....then it should be worth buying.....but not at current price....I feel so.

Thanks Gourav,

I guess you are talking about estilo VXi model, but CW price quote for LXI is 3,75,963.

Anyways, I will be visiting dealers from today to get quotes and bargains.. First visit today evening..

BTW do you recommend VXi over LXi? is it worth spending?

Neeraj,

I gave you Hyderabad price for Estilo LXI model may be Road tax is less in Pune, here it is around 9%.

Regarding LXI vs VXI, I went through the variants http://www.marutisuzukiestilo.com/variants.asp

It all depends on your spending capability because those features are for added comfort, nothing as such part of requirement......If I have to buy then I will go for LXI in Estilo as all the basic things are covered with it (Power steering, Front Power Window, Manual Central Locking etc...) so no doubt go for LXI & save money...also do compare WagonR & I10 Magna(1.2L) price after discounts....then decide...

Best of luck

Comparison of price between same models of Estilo and Wagon R may not be correct since Estilo gives more features. Eventgough the Estilo LXI model is costlier by around Rs 4500/ compared to wagon R LXI, it gives most of the features in Wagon R VXi, a much better mileage, much better gear box and slightly more power (CC will not matter). Width is the same. After all, Wagon R has an outdated engine, which has to be changed when Bharath IV norms comes into effect.

Hai Guys

Nice to hear good things. Want to buy a small car from Maruti and shortlisted New Estilo and Wagon R. I hears Wagon R vibrates at around 80Kmph but was not lucky to test drive it on the highway. Both seems good with refinesments especially the A/C, new Gear(Cable gear system) in WagonR. I want to keep the car for > 5yrs and looking for a good looking one and it seems Estilo looks good compared to WagonR.

 Please suggest with your experience
