Are you particular about petrol sedans only? Or are you open to Diesel sedans too?

(There is no such thing as you need to run minimum 2000 KM/month for a diesel car else diesel car will give problems. That logic is purely froma financial calculation angle only.)

Also diesel cars require equal or even less maintenance than petrol cars.

Hello Deep,

I am new to carwale and was as confused as you are but finally i have decided to buy ANHC V or SMT

more so will go for VMT coz though its a bit too high as the price variation but then you get a company fitted allloys (More keen on the alloys)

I want to know if you have already bought the city or you still planning to buy it

and secondly please let me know about the discount you are being offerd

as far as i am concerned i will buy a new bombay registration and have got a discount of 15000 and have been said that the price for city is likely to increase so was a bit worrried and want to finalize it

any information on the price increase part?

Regards,

Ameet

Hello

I am looking for a sedan. Can be diesel or petrol.

My monthly run is 500-600 KM/Month.

My budget is Rs 800000 lacs (can stretch it to Rs. 900000 lacs maximum)

Features I am looking for are ABS, decent stereo, power windows and power steering and will prefer Airbag as-well and good rear seat space

Options I have in mind are Sx4 / Honda city / Verna Crdi SX

need a fuel efficent car - average should be atleast 13+ in city with 100% AC on

maintanace cost should be recent

Post edited to change the font & its size (for better readability).

my suggestion would be dont go for any diesel veh as they may be expencive today well tomoorow you might laugh at the petrol station at someone filling petrol and taking out buncehes of money from his wallet but when it comes to diesel engine after three years you cant pull money out of your wallet you will have to pay it up from the bank understand this and buy if its a petrol cost you might be paying it in bits and poeces

keep in mind that that day that that bill and it should be a like a credit card for any car i mean
