Are there any Fabia owners here on the forum who would talk about level of satisfaction on the product and the service?

Thanks.

I own a Fabia 1.2 HTP Ambiente for 2 months now. I am pretty happy with the car, except for the refinement of the engine. Once you close the windows it is super silent but with windows down is a different story. Service could be an issue, for that matter I don't think there is an automobile brand where everyone is happy about the service. For me it is just a myth that Maruti offers great service. I have personally experienced bad Maruti service and I know people who crib about some Honda dealers.

Fabia is not really a roaring success, but has sold in decent numbers. If you look at the number of Fabia's available in Carwale or any used car site, you will hardly find any. For me that means people are happy with their purchases, this after discounting the fact that the car has not been around for long(this also affects availability in the used car market). Also Fabia is rated as one of the most reliable cars in UK. Routine service should not be too expensive, but accident repairs will be way too expensive. It is a terrific car to drive(I am not talking about an enthusiast driver).

The Fabia 1.4 MPI was a disaster and that is what earned a bad name for this car. I have hardly seen any complaints against 1.4 TDI and 1.2 HTP models.

Spacious and better seating position and seats than any other car I considered before I bought Fabia. I looked at Fiesta /i20/Punto. If you are not in a hurry I would recommend waiting for some more time to check the possibility of a new engine being introduced.
