Wwhat are your views to fit alloy rims in Indica in place of company fitted rims. Will it impact the mileage of car and in what sense. You know anybody who is using alloys in Indica?

Alloy Wheels are basically for good/sporty look.  Good quality alloys do help marginally/negligibly - mileage, handling & performance.  Have a look at this thread/discussion on Alloy Wheels.

alloy wheels are a necessity if your indica has a chronic bent rim problem

Is the play in the clutch and brake pedal in Indica DLS Turbo model is common or it is specific to some problem. As there is play towards right and left in clutch and brake pedals of my Indica.

Also the gear shift lever is tight while shifting gears.

Little play is normal (all cars).  Get it checked and, extra play, if any, removed.

Thanx to all of you for helping me to choose Indica among two cars. I am using this vehicle from last 15-20 days. Very Happy to use the same i don't find Indica Turbo much harder as i have of. It gives a very smooth and peaceful drive on highway and city traffic both. Good A/c and very good stability. Have driven this vehicle to Delhi last week and find it amaging on highways. I have driven Diesel vehicle for the first time and find it comfortable. Thanx again to all of you for your feedbacks.

I thought you owned both cars. from the post it appears that you just got the indica
