Hi Friends,
I own a FIAT UNO 1997 petrol model. 55000km covered.
I am usually getting electrical issues, if I am driving through heavy rain. _ Heavy means really heavy...

1. Once the fan rely got damaged, and had to change it.
2. recently, after I stopped the engine, I heard that my engine is trying to spark !! there was a tick tick sound from Engine. (that drive also was through very heavy rain)

Friends, Do u have any suggestion or precautions while riding through rain. Whether covering the rely with plastic will help or not?

Help me please....

There's probably water inside the distributor cap - get this checked. Apart from that check if any gaskets are worn out - these might allow water to enter the engine. For the electricals, get the contacts/terminals cleaned and tightened.

No use applying a band-aid in the form of covering the complete car / engine compartment... Identify the sparking part and correct it, otherwise you will have a burnt car instead of a sparking car... take care!

My concern is when I am driving through heavy rain, the car relys are getting wet and making problem. (Krishna... I am not talking about covering the engine !!!)
