Hi

I would suggest stick to the original size.

If u want to upgrade go for 15inch as 195/70 r14 will not be suitable.

Note upgrade go for 15inch may void the warranty.Consult ur hyundai workshop

Here a pic of Yokohama's 195/55 R15 A drive tyres

initial-take-my-hyundai-i20-asta-i20_03093.jpg

The alloys are HR (15") wearing 195/55 Yokohama S-drive. 23k for the alloys, set of five. Tires cost  4550 (per tire).

Note upgrade go for 15inch may void the warranty.Consult ur hyundai workshop

Henry,

Are you sure that warranty wont be void? Any radius difference from the OEM will usually make it warrany void.

Hi I have recently upgraded my i20 sportz tyres from factory fitted 175/70 R14 apollo accelere + iron rim to 195/60 r15 Michellin Primacy LC + alloy rim.

I have got additional 10.16 mm ground clearance. speedo error is 2.4%. ride quality with the michellins are amazing. road grip has increased and the steering has got heavier marginally. I wanted EPS to be tight; although sometimes LOOSE steering adds comfort, it can put you off the lane easily while driving.

I recommend this upgrade.

Even I want to upgrade my CRDi Magna to the same specs. Can you please tell me if the rear tires touches the body during bumps when the car is loaded with 4 or 5 persons? That's my only concern.

Hyundai i20 CRDi Magna White 2011, 15" Neo Wheels (Dizzy) Chrome Alloy Wheels + 195/60 R15 Bridgestone Potenza RE88 Tires, Imported PKE SmartKey Security System, 55w 12000K HID Conversion Kit, K&N Air Filter, 5" Garmin GPS Navigation, V.I.P # 0020.
