hi Kairav,

Have you bought the car(a-star) or not ?,if you have not bought then go for cars which have company fitted kit.

If go for cng kit for new A-star,you will viod its warranty.

Company fitted kit is always better than after market kit,if want to go for CNG you have santro cng. Cng is best in tearms of running cost, then diesel and then LPG.

You can consider diesel indica as well.

You can take LPG also as an option, its running cost more than CNG,but power loss will be less than CNG.If going for lpg, spark lpg is best option, you ofcourse have options like wagon r duo, santro lpg, indica lpg.

You can calculate monthly fuel bill of petrol(in a particular car) ,then calculate the bill for others, that is  CNG, diesel and LPG then compare them with each-other .And then chose as per your liking and cost effectiveness.

Please note that you can inform your Insurance Company and pay some extra Premium and Insure your car. Do not forget to do that!

Hi Mayank, for the K series engine like the A-Star , its best to go in for SGiS kits like the company fitted ones, it would not disturb ur car's engine and give trouble free service, of course its a litle expnsive compared to venturi / ordinary kits  . Arun

Hi mayank,

Thanks for the information, Actually i bought the car 2 years back, A star Vxi 2010 model with k-series engine.

I want to go for LPG kit for my car, but the problem is mechanics are telling me that , with regular kits, back fire, sudden stopping of engine while running like problems will happen.

the major problem with regular / Lambda system kit is Breaking of Air Filters.

Is it true.

In Sequential kit, there will not be any such problems.

Please suggest me if possible.
