Hi Guys,

I am helping out my brother in selection of a MUV.His budget is around 9lakhs.I test drove xylo E8 version. Its totaly a different experience as i am used driving small cars like i10.The seating is on higher position and you have climb up to get inside the xylo. The driving position is good, the pick upto 4th gear is very good. But i found the gear shifting is very hard, the NVH levels are very low. However the pastic quality, fit and finish are not upt to the mark.

INNOVA: Its very easy to handle and just feels like driving any sedans. The inetrior fit and finish is good ,the engine feels to be refined then the xylo.

In terms of pricing Xylo seems to be VFM ,innova is pricy but totaly in different league.Let me know your opinions on these MUVs.

The ride quality of Innova is more refined than any other car. Handling is easy too. XYLO as already mentioned by you is a VFM. the features/package/pricing is excellent. Many have complained of a woobly ride the XYLO. Have a look at this comparision and the below links:-

The other options you could have is the safari, scorpio and the Sumo Grande.

Innova is anyday better than Xylo...if you can exstend the budget go for it... else Scorpio is a great car too...if you can buy higher end models you will get great interiors like a top end sedan...it's drive, comfort and power is awsome. I have seen some well kept and stylish ones...and they beat many as far as luxory is concerned.

Innova is anyday better than Xylo...

this would be true mainly in case of ride quality else the XYLo is a VFM and the top end model is cheaper to the base model of innova(approximately)
