Just one concern if ill wait beyond 31 then have heard that the rates are abt to be revises so ill lose 20 30k there wat u suggest,

If you have made payment, then I dont think your price will be modified. If you have only booked the car, then the invoice value will change. Do investigate the dealer's policy and enquire about the pricing.

need help

i booked a honda city corporate edition and my delar sundaram does not have one. he siad he will try with his other branches and maybe get it from there.

then the odo reading will be in hundreds of km as it has to come from chennai or hyd.

what should i keep in mind with pdi for this vehicle

I m going for a PDI inspection of my new swift.  Request you to please let me know how to decode the VIN number of new Swift and how to locate the engine no and chasis no...

Open the hood. look under the front cowl(where the windshield tends to meet the engine bay) You will find the chassis number after which two alphanumeric characters are present. These two last characters represent the Month and year of manufacture. 

Month Codes(First character):

A = JAN
B = FEB
C = MAR
D = APR
E = MAY
F = JUN
G = JUL
H = AUG
J = SEP
K = OCT
L = NOV
M = DEC

Year Codes(Second character):

A - 2010

B = 2011

C = 2012

Ideally, the latest car you can get is "EC". Settle at the most for "DC". Accept Nothing older than that.

Today I visited the stockyard of Vitesse for pre delivery inspection of my new swift Zxi - Torque Blue.  All the new cars very dirty and kept open in sunlight.

However, since they were aware thats I m coming thats why they kept my car in shade.  However, I had to wait for almost half an hour, since the concerned person did not come in their stockyard.

There was a mechanic who was trying to clean the dirty new cars, with a help of a single pipe.

I noted down my chassis no and engine no as well as VIN.  However, I m unable to decode the same.  Request you to please let me know the month and year of manufacturing for the following:

VIN number - MA3EHKD1S00254126

I m afraid there is No EC or DC as mentioned by you.  Please help me ASAP.  Thank u.
