I differ with Centaur . i 20 is not above in most aspect compare to others. Infact it has got the least rear leg room . You can feel the vibration on steering ( even recognised by Hyundai person who was with me during TD ). Ride quality is no where near Punto & Fabia. You surely feel the bump & rough road. Steering is too light . When we talk about interiors , well it has got everything brown . Brown plastics & brown seat. Steering design itself is straight lift from Honda !!. Yes pick up is excellent , brakes are excellent , ASS is very good.

And most negative point - Price . i 20 doesn't deserve it. They are asking too much .

                        i 20   least rear leg room??????????...kindly go to a show room and sit in one...vibrations in stearing??? think i'll take a test drive in a benz or a BMW to understand your point.... of course its nice to have a light steering......donk like the brown interiors????ok I leave it to personal choice...straight lift from honda-its nice to lift good things...the way about 5 yrs back the new santro xing forced all the small car manufacturers to go for clear head lamps...even swift had to do away with their dull rer lamps...pick up- beg to diagree a modest performance just enough for lesser mortals...not enough for those raising geeks....buddy I have a feeling U realy miss this car because of the price tag.....

If you go for the i20 asta which is 4k cheaper to the fabia you get all the 95% features of the fabia(only power door locks and tubeless tyres are missing in i20).

@Salil - Power door lock is a feature wherein you can close the windows of your car by twisting the key at the time of locking your car.

This feature is not present any other car.

Uneet, one of my client booked Fabia and they promised delivery within a week. He asked me about the Fabia and I know he can afford little high maintenance thats why Fabia is not bad for him. Quality speaks and I feel Fabia is having different class.

Hi Rajiv,

The target customers for Fabia are quite less but this segment is growing. Iam very sure if Skoda can solve its problems of A.S.S and spare parts issue, all their cars in each segments can rule the market.

I feel that Superb is better than Accord, Laura is better than Ciciv and altis, Fabia is better than i20 and punto.

Ofcourse many will differ from me but once you are used to this solid build cars it feels that the other cars are quite flimsy. I feel more secure in Fabia than my civic!

But their only problem remains unsloved is the A.S.S

@ Salil , You can check the specification of all car discussed here. It clearly shows that i 20 has minimum rear leg room. As far as vibration in steering is concerned , it was surely there. No doubt about it . Even Hyundai people acknowledged it. Also you don't need to test drive BMW & Merc for that !! Hyundai is known for lifting good things from others . ( Steering in this case ). Second i had driven all these cars number of times not just once. So better you should check yourself first. It has got very good pick up . Again no doubt . You can check all three cars in consideration here. Price - let market decide its fate. Surely Hyundai is not Honda . By no means Hyundai is premium car manufacturer.

I mentioned only about the diesel Asta model when I mentioned about tubeless tyres and power door locks not being present. CHeck this comparision and things will be clear




Why break rules when following them is much easier!!!

Dear Uneet,

                    My i 20 Magna petrol has the following working characteristics...

1. I come out of my car and twist my key in the door key insert, all the doors are simultaneously shut.

2. I enter the car clip my door lock, all the doors are simultaneously shut.

3. If I press a small button located near the lock, my rear two window panel are locked and prevents the rear occupants from operating the window panes.

              From my understanding of automotive features, my vehicle has got central locking but does not have ATS(Anti theft system). Sorry buddy still not clear---the diff between power lock & central locking.
