@Siddharth : I am from Borivali, Modi Hyundai (Malad Link Road) is giving me a discount of 20k plus like I said  loan @ 8.5% and about the accessories he said we can finalise it when you book the car.

@Praveen : Had thought about the a-star but found the car kinda crammped esp. the rear seats, no doubt its a great car for 2 adults and kids and also good for daily city commuting. But I am looking a car with descent space and will venture on highways and outstation often.

@Naveen Rao : Thanks, had called up Fortune cars of Powai, will have a TD of 1.2 this saturday or sunday, and maybe by then I will have a clear picture about Punto.

@Bhardwaj : Ho can u please justify the suggestion of Ritz as the base version itself is 4.5 and vxi at around 4.8 plus a waiting period of 6 weeks.

Hi Sumit ...I think a loan of 8.5% is a damn good deal..see if you can squeeze in some more accessories Wink..! According to me...Puno and i1o are two best choices ... the only thing is Punto doesnt quite live up to FE expectations..and it is a bit more expensive than the i10..! And as far as i10 is concerned ...it is a fantastic car ... I own a sportz and it have given me ultimate driving pleasure...so far..! Make your choice.. and do let know ..!

Regards

Hi All,

I finally got my first car -Grande Punto , came arnd a week back, was out so could not post

The color I have taken is medium grey and model is 1.2 Active.

The car is simply superb probably the best looking hatchback to me. The on-road came to 4.7 lacs with 11K for the music system(Sony Xplod wid USB jack front door and back speakers) and 3k for the same color door handles and ORVM (the finish quality of paint is excellent looks same like Emotion)

Handling is good, nice boot space and leg space. AC is quite good.

Had developed a minor noise cos of loosening of silencer but got it rectified today from nearby TATA service and that was also a good experiance-looks like FIAT have finally worked on their ASS.

As for the mileage will take some time to know

Will post the pics soon

I deeply appreciate everyone's contribution in helping me decide, Carwale really helped a lot.

Thanks

P.S : I am looking for maintenance tips from you guys.

The Maruti A Star model is specially great in the city areas. The model perfectly suits the conditions of cities where in heavy traffic conditions you have to use the brakes and the race very frequently and to make this easier the Maruti A Star Has been designed with more leg space and effective braking system. Cool A star is giving more than 18 kmpl mileage.. A Star is the best city car!
