finally I changed my stock wheels to alloy wheels

alloys - PLATI 5 spoke

tyres - CEAT MILAZE 185/70 R14 88 T

Now my car looks cool and ride quality has improved.

Hi Prabhjot ,

Congrats for your car and the alloys. Can u please let know the price for which you got the Ceat tyres for and what price you were being quoted for other companies tyres like Michelin Apollo or Yoko in the same 185 70 R14. Even I am planning to upgrade the tyres for my new Ritz Lxi. Thanx in advance. Dev

Dev please loose formalities like 'Sir', we are like minded enthusiasts on a common platform-thats all.

Well coming to the issue:

14  x 6 is a good upgrade and there wont be any issue with the suspension so take a deep breath of ease!

Having said that mounting 165 section tyres on the 6 inch rims wont be such a good idea. The wider rim will stretch the tyre and slightly change the profile of the tyre.

Mounting 185 section tyres on there rims will give you a better performing tyre wheel combo and also better looks.
