A suggestion for enabling the images to be hidden.

While I am surfing carwale.com from office, I would like the images to be hidden as I would be mostly reading the content. With the images on the screen, it gives a somewhat bad impression to my boss. Also the bandwidth is very less, so opting to view the site without the images could make it faster. For example yahoo has a link to hide and unhide the images.

On thing that can be done is block the images using Adblock add-on in Firefox.

Mozilla>Tools>option>content>uncheck the load images automatically works fine. Thanks.

It was your idea.

Although the miniature images like the "red tick" images for the "features" are not visible and also the fonts of the tabs [except the one which is selected]  matches with the background color and are not visible.

i would suggest you use the imglikeopera addon, and browse in the 'show cached images' mode.

once you load them for one page, the same will be reused for other pages

I am not allowed to install any software in office. That includes the add-ons.

All add-ons are disabled by default.

For all these days, I was thinking that only car experts are available in this website...Now I can see many computer literates as well
