I recommend not to put component speakers without changing the main unit.  In case U want to change both speakers i.e front and rear, change the main unit, put a 2 ch amplifier for the rear unit and put component speakers at the front.  U can hear the differnece.

yes, most car stereos will sound better than the one that comes with the car, but the stock one should have no problems driving the components. Worst case ,they might not be as loud, thats all

yes, but you'll need to get a replacement dash kit ( the corresponding part of the base version swift) to install a regular car stereo. Most installers may not have this. It is available though. the swift OE HU has one pair of pre outs. You can use them along with a Y cable to run a 4 channel amplifier, but you'll lose fader control ( ie ability to set the front to back balance). This is the recommended option. alternately, you can use an amplifier with speaker level inputs.

Hi All,

I own a Swift Dzire and have been facing this issue. My friend recetly got me a KENWOOD KAC-M645 amp (4 channel). Since, I am not sure about how to go about the installs thereafter. Please advice me on how to proceed with changing the front and rear speakers. I have also got a JVC subwoofer.

I would really appreciate your suggestions on this.

Hi,

Recently got my Dzire Zdi. am in love with it completely, except one thing i.e, ICE. Though I am tight on budget, I would like to change my speakers only and not the HU.coz i like the integrated look.

1) Will just upgrading the rear speakers with coaxial Pioneer TS-6974R improve the SQ a little bit???

2200 INR

2) Dealer is urging me to go for JBL components for the rear , promising me a SQ 5-6 times better than the stock, but as far as i know , components are only installed in frnt. Also is the cost right???

JBL 608 series - 3800 INR...

I dont intend to change the HU, so i think even if i stretch my budget i cant go for Amp.???
