the differences you have mentioned are between the aqua and terra

the differences between the terra and aqua, and approximate costof adding

front fogs (cost ~3k, maybe more ) very useful if you'll be doing a lot of night driving

Tacho (will have to change console, not feasible). If you are an enthusiast, you will miss it

front power windows. (~8k) depends on your need. think aftermarket power windows for the vista are not available

rear de mister ( not sure about cost , will have to change /add a lot of stuff at the back, including glass, not feasible)

variable intensity display - not a big deal, cant be added

central locking ~4k- you'll need this anyway.

It worth it , but are the features that are not feasible to upgrade important enough ? The rest can be fitted

30K difference is a small amount.  All in all, Aqua should be preferred for better interiors/features.

Hi All,

In Vista, only the engine is good (engine means engine, not even the gear box. Petrol engine is better because it is FIAT engine not TATA..sorry TATA Motors. Do not believe that every TATA product is good. It is a group of companies. If steel from TATA Steel is good that does not mean that TATA Motors also will provide you good products). Another thing is not even TATA Motors, every car company in India has very bad after sale service and bad behaviour. They have the mentality "itna paysa mey itnaich milenga". No complain will create good result. We are citizens of third ... ... . Anyway, I have following problems in my father's Vista Petrol(Safire) Aura. I am very much ashamed that I suggested this car to my father (who spent almost 4.5 lakhs of rupees). Please give the solution where '??' is there at solution place.

Prob1. AC was not so cool.

Sol: Power cut off used to happen after reaching the desired temp level. It is rectified and got fixed.

Prob2. Some parts are breaking from gear lever to gear box. Because of that I am able to change the gear only upto 2nd gear. No further gear is being engaged. It broke with in 1 month. Replaced. Again it broke today.

Sol: ??

Prob3. While applying brake, an unusual ghar ghar sound is coming.

Sol: ??

Prob4. An unusual ghat ghat sound is coming from front left shock absorber while wheel is on speed breaker or on some gadda.

Sol: ??

prob5. Rear right door is not opening from inside.

Sol: ??

Prob6. While changing gear from 1st to 2nd, there is a huge speed slow down.

Sol: ??

My father bought a new car and it is 2.5 months old with 1 servicing.

Please help.

Thanks & Regards.

Roy

Ritz - a little less peppier than Swift - is very good & has very silent engine.  Has better space/comfort than Swift.  Test-drive both the cars (with family).

Ooh again lots of Complaint for Tata motors. Seems many users are not satisfied with the Performance of the Vista. If we talk abt the Petrol model .. Roy.. Both Engine & gear box is sorced by FIAT & its best in the Industry. might be Engine seems to be under power on Hills but its v.good on Planes. Even there many Happy user for Indica Vista. & it is one of the best in its Class. If yo compare it wht Tata is giving in low price. In diesel also Engine is out sourced bt Fiat & its best in the Industry got no. of Awards in UK & is being used by many countries with diff. name & under diff. Brand.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fully_Integrated_Robotised_Engine

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_Multijet_engine   these will show you the details which all comp are sourcing engines from FIAT.

Cheers.!!!
