Hello Sir, How is the new Petra Diesel (it is CRDe i guess). I like that car for its performance, but then what will be maintanance cost. My running is around 50 KM daily with about 500 KM on highway once a month. What will be the spares availibility in future etc...I heard GFiat is investing in India, in that case what will be future of such a great car? Thanks RS

Dear Rahul,

The current Diesel Petra i.e. 1.9 D and the upcoming one i.e. 1.3 Multijet one are great cars. But uncertain future of Fiat is keeping all these great cars down. Maintenance is not a problem. Spares availability is not an issue and should not be an issue in near future too. Predicting spares-availability and after-sales-service for a longer time is not possible for Fiat. As of now it seems that Fiat India is finding firm ground now and we hope it will do even better in near future.
