looks like none of carwale members watch movies. All work and no play makes jack a lazy boy guys Wink

Chalo Dilli -

just a 2 hour movie. Wouldnt say its a great movie or a bad movie either. Vinay Pathak has done well as usual. The movie is based on the age old mantra of 'how to keep smiling even in adversities' with Vany Pathank time and again saying 'kaunsi badi baat ho gayi'. Can be watched once.

Comment - I had to delete that post as it would have led to copyright infringement. It is better if you go through the forums rules again just incase you are unsure of what can/cannot be posted and how can something be posted. Going forward such posts would be deleted without any warning. Please make a note of the same. The consequent two posts have also been deleted as they were not related to the thread.

Well guys, I had been to Fast and the Furious a few days back. Dont want to say the entire story but its one good movie to watch especially for petrol heads! As it is the continuation of the series, one must be familiar with the story to understand this. LEt me leave the story to the movie screen itself for you to watch, but its a very well executed project. You will not be bored at any point. Plus, there is a big suspense in the end. Theres a fair amount of straight-forward comedy also. Moreover, the movie, being A-Rated, is very decent movie, except that there is some violence with awesome sound FX processed together with it.

I am not a frequent movie goer but this one made me sit in the theatre and watch it, even though it was at the cost of my busy schedule!

Btw, Sridhar, you are a movie freak buddy!! I am shocked to see so many reviews in a short amount of time. To be frank, it was more than a year that I had been to the movies

Ragini MMS -

Its not even a 2 hour movie. The movie is okay for people who get scared even when someone utters the letter g from the word ghosts or the letter s from the word spirits. Most of the people who came for this movie were not even aware that its supposedly a horror film and ended up getting scared. Its about a guy who takes his girlfriend wanting to make an MMS clip with her. He takes her to a farm house which is rigged with cameras all through. However what gets recorded on the cameras is something which is not at all expected.

The movie has been depicted as though its a real one and is shown as it is shot from the actors cameras. This is similar to the hollywood movie paranormal activity (for those who have seen it). It can be watched in a theatre rather than ruin the little fear it induces by watching it at home

not at all mate. All those reviews are after I saw the legal versions online. Most of them are not in theatres. The last 2 and golmaal 3 were the movies which I saw in theatres. Rest I prefer to sink in the couch and watch these movies at home. I am not at all a theatre go-er.

Guess even I caught the Movie fever. Though a bit late I was dragged into watching Rio in 3D. First went in thinking that it was a kiddo movie. And to my expectation it was a cartoon. But the movie was never boring. To make it better, it was really awesome. Straight forward comedy makes the movie, which is aimed to highlight bird smuggling very interesting to watch. Overall I liked it very much and it did made a lot of people end laughing out loud!

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara -

Saw this movie on the first day itself as I have a leave on Friday. This is the first time I saw a movie on the first day.

The movie is a good one with some streaks of comedy and emotions. Three college friends (no ofcourse well settled in life) go on a long time before planned vacation to Spain. Farhan had told in college that these three had to select one adventure sport which the other two should not know about untill they reach the place where the adventure sport is played. Each one of the has decided one and they gradually go on a road trip though Spain. They meet Katrina on the way who also rides a bullet in the film. All of them realise something or another in the trip and this is approximately what has been shown in the movie with some more masala added in between. Worth a watch once.

@Surya

Watched Deiva thirumagal (tamil) on Saturday. It is a very good movie, which potrays human relations. Very good acting by Vikram & Cute Sara (Daugther of Vikram in the movie).

Go. Watch it with your family and sure the love for your father/child will be increased by a notch.

Dont carwale members watch movies or is it that they are too lazy to post any reviews Wink?

Anyways am posting another one

Don 2 - never wanted to go for this but my better half is a die hard fan of SRK and thought of earning some brownie points by taking her for this one . She had been pestering me since the time Ra-One came but never took her for that one.

Alright now for the review. The movie is an average one with some stunts thrown around here and there. Some scenes come out as utter rubbish and completely foolish like for instance when Don is actually lodged in a jail and he slips out without much ado. Style is paramount in this movie and yes there are some suspense spots like Don1 had. Film ends giving you a hint that Don 3 might also come up in the future. Can be watched once but not more.

Ek Main aur ekk tu -

Saw a four star rating for this one in the times and did the biggest mistake of going for it. Did not find it ranking higher in any area of a film like story, suspense, acting etc. Imran khan had no expressions on his face irrespective of the scene being a emotional one or a humurous one. After the interval was feeling a bit sleepy watching this move. Definitely not worth watching in the theatre
