Approval for LPG kit/retrofitment is car/model-specific.  Check for the ones approved for these cars.  Go for original Italian kit.  It would cost in the range of 18-22K.

Mileage will reduce, say from 12 to 10 but the running cost will obviously be cheaper (cost of LPG).  There will be some loss of power/performance - it will not match with that on petrol - but the difference may not be noticed/felt much in normal driving conditions/style.

Thank you pankaj for the reply.

One more thing i want know is once i get lpg kit from LOVATO.(italian company)can i inject LPG from comercial LPG cylinders or domestic lpg cylinders using LPG pump, because my parents live in small village there is no facility for refueling LPG . By using these lpg gas from cylinders will harm the engine.

Yes, I think it will harm to some extent (in long run) - am not aware of the technical reasons.

Some people do refill domestic LPG for non-availability of commercial LPG & also because domestic is cheaper.  But please note that use of domestic LPG is illegal.

Yes, use of domestic LPG is illegal and not advisable at the same time. But, i have also seen people transferring gas from domestic Cylender to the car cylender. Ask the rettrofitters i am sure they will help you buy that pump and you might get some lectures on how to use the pump.

Vikhyat if you are buying a Second hand car Consider Esteem as your first option-Just because you get some boot space in esteem even after the Gas kit installation.

I think it would cost in the range of Rs.2 to 2.50 lac - depending upon the model/version, kms done & condition of the car.
