@Steeroid,

I completely understand it, and in fact I have been giving the same advice to fellow moderators in similar cases before, however, when it came onto me, I found myself in same dilemma as Pankaj and Binoy did earlier.

It's easier to be highly strict in independant forums e.g. teambhp but this forum, being a part of a commercial website requires a little more politeness. And since I am directly associated with CarWale, I was a little more cautious. I have never asked fellow members for their comments on CarWale or myself but this particular incident helped us in knowing what our dear friends think about us moderators and CarWale. This particular thread is very precious now. I feel good to get this kind of support. Maybe a time-waste but it has brought people only together.

@Karan,

Thank you so much for all those words. Good to see you around after a long time.

@Kartik,

We work on C#, ASP.NET (no vacancy though), if you have specialization in it, I will love to see your resume in my inbox. 5 marks extra from my side in case it helps you get through my CTO's test.

Well Again, i think Z a.k.a Zaheer and Ksvk Prasad should not be further discussed, but as rightly pointed out by Pankaj as an example of how things can go wrong (as they sometimes do) but then, by apologising one only gets bigger.

i have no right to comment on Zaheer out here, but yes being a youngster (probably of my age) i too have gone through it in a different form. So i can understand it. Yes Language of "us" youngsters is a little "different" from what people elder to us would appreciate. But then, an apology is an apology in every language, It is well understood and appreciated by all.

Yesterday only when i opened this thread i immediately thought,

"what went so wrong? , Things do happen, but someone bullying Banwari? And Banwari himself locking horns, with another Guy".

Banwari Out here is the "coolest" in terms of temperament when compared to ANYONE of us out here. And seeing his reply one can almost blindly say he was REALLY REALLY upset about the whole incident.

i thought, why on Earth was this thread Existing ? But yes ,i think it should be here since it is NOT denting Banwari's hard earned Reputation one bit !

Also, there may or may not be more incidents like this, but Banwari has never Gone public about it. Nobody on this site has. I think if anyone has some grudges with another person, why show it off to the world? Everyone knows where i am pointing.

Cheers !

Edit-Sorry while writing i did not see Banwari's post.

Hi Banwari, Mention not boss. You never need to prove your worth to us. Will catch up soon. Hope all great at your end.

well! i was out of touch for a long time and now when i got time to go through this forum i am highly disappointed to see such a thread,Banwari,since the day i have got addicted to this site i am your big time fan.And,the best part is that i never knew that you hold such a big position in Carwale.

Though i never noticed Rahul earlier.But, now after going through this Hot Conversation- i agree people like Rahul should be banned, To me in a forum like this there is no place for criticism.Its all about giving your opinion(+ve or -ve) and welcome others opinion too. And, very well said by Karan here "an apology is an apology in every language, It is well understood and appreciated by all".----Most of the people i know are not bad, its there attitude who's making them bad.

I would say we should take this thread as an example.

Banwari, i know this thread was started by Rahul and should be closed by you on a happy note.

Keep Smiling...

I am just another CW lover!

Dont know how I missed this thread???

Everyone is free for criticism but Rahul's language (I havent checked other threads), not acceptible! I am really very happy to see the way Banwari tackled him. You are very good Banwari bro and doing a great job.

Nobody is perfect, but that doesnt means one can say anything to anyone. Rightly said by Karan, an apology is an apology in every language, it is well understood and appreciated by all.

And Rahul is Deepam? Surprised

Like Rajiv, Even I missed the thread.

Not commenting on the events that happened. But I am overwhelmed at the strength of our family and on how the the issue was handled. I am extremely proud to be part of this family.

I am short of words.....All I can say is that I am proud to be a CarWale'ite.

Exactly my point, as a matter of fact Moderators of any forum are themselves humans. They aren't Wikipedia's or search engine's. They are humans, they too will not know things at some point of time, But will learn them and share them in future.(I am in noway saying that the knowledge of Our Mods is any less). A Simple question, If we come across a person who doesn't know as much as we do, do we Make fun of him or disrespect him ?

And About Rahul and Deepam, i was just guessing.I don't know the reasons why Deepam was banned. All i can see next to his name is that he's banned.Don't know anything more. However i would not like to link Deepam to Rahul in any way whatsoever. i repeat, NOT knowing what all may i have happened, i saw Deepam as a highly knowledgeable person with a lot of interest in cars. Rahul on the other hand seemed to be an extremist. he may or may not have had the knowledge. But, POINTS are always FORGOTTEN if the behaviour is NOT appropriate.

There were many freedom fighters were braver than Gandhiji.But why is he the most famous out of all of them ? Got the answer ?Smile

P.s--Ami i am not sure if Carwale'ite or Carwalean Innocent

Rahul & Deepam are different - poles apart (no point elaborating).  A request... let's not refer the other members banned - not knowing the reasons thereof (nothing confidential - it's apparent from posts/participations & warnings issued) - and let us not compare & confuse.

No offence meant.  Thanks.
