Hello Martin. Yes, you are right. Mahindra has improved scorpio a lot. It looks good and much comfortable than the earlier version.

However, legroom in last row seat is better in Innova. Further, the engine lasts longer. After about 80,000 km of spinning Scorpio will become ruggid and rough.

Both cars are equally good. Decision is yours. I opted innova after driving petrol version. It is a rocket (Thriller) for driver and airbus (comfortable) for passengers.

Hi

If u can adjust with looks of Xylo then i would suggest u go with E8 with Abs as safety is a major concern. It will be more suitable for ur needs without compromising on comfort and safety

Xlyo is a VFM (Value for Money).  Also refer to this thread wherein the SUVs/MUVs have been discussed/compared.

Hi friends...i bought mahindra scorpio 2.2 mhawk vlx last week only and i have travelled more than 1000 kms in it till now and one thing i have to say is that the ride quality of scorpio has increased very much,i mean its very comfortable in the middle row but the last seat row is not that much good..the a.c of the scorpio is very very powerful as it hardly takes 30 secs to give you cold chills...adding to it are the automatic features which new mhawk cums with, personally i liked the automatic engine cut off feature.......i am getting an mileage of around 12kmpl in delhi traffic and on highways i clocked 15kmpl but i never crossed the 80km speed limit on highway...i think buying a scorpio is really an good idea plus you gets road respect which you won't get in innova(no offense to innova lovers).

thanks

amit.

Scorpio is better option over Innova because even though Innova has the mark of quality of Toyota it is becoming a little outdated. The new Mighty Muscular Scorpio is powerful and sturdy and if you are considering adenture rides and off roading then Scorpio is ideal beacuse it is basically a SUV. Also the M-hawk 4X4 has been launched now.
