Now heres' an important piece of information for all, actually when this question was asked, at that time only one types of turbo chargers existed in indian cars, FIXED geometry turbochargers that switches on after a certain RPM like 3000 or above, but now all must have heard the term VGT in the verna and sonata CRDi engine, VGT stands for Variable geometry turbo i.e. the turbo comes into play even at very low RPM, so now you all know the secret why Verna pushes you into the seat when the accelerator is pressed at any gear; because the turbo is always on and still giving a great economy. The fiesta, swift diesel, tata, skoda cars all use FIXED GEOMETRY turbochargers while the hyundai and Mercedes uses VGT upto now. There is no difference between the T.C and non T.C cars before certain RPM in cars like indica with fixed geometry.
