I had posted this query in another thread as well and repeating it here so that i can get advice from many ppl out here...
1. Music System
Yesterday i have booked my Chevy Spark LS. When discussing about the extra fittings and accessories for the car, he suggested me to have the GM approved music system. The Sony/Pioneer with 4 speakers would cost me 10.5K. I asked him if i get the music system installed from oustside, he said that the guys would not install it proper. Then i asked him if i buy the music system from outside (grey market) and give it to him to fit it for me, he said he would charge me for labor.. around 1200 to 1500.
Then he suggested me that i should have a wooden parcel shelf so that the sound affect would be good and clear and for that shelf another 2200? Is that fine or i should get all this done from outside..
Also if you could suggest a good music system for Spark - range around 8-10K.
2. Console - Wooden finish sticker
Another advice i need is on wooden finish sticker which i saw on LT model (dont know if it is free in that). It looked good and The charge for this is 1500. Is it worth from GM or get it done from outside?
All spark owners please help or give advice on this.. appreciate your feedback and response.
