With the correct stock size known, 185/60 will be very close to original dimensions, hence preferred.

I am also thinking to go for tyre upgradation & for alloys also.

But the problem is a already used 1200 KM now the value gets down. Earlier the deal i got for 185/60 is 2000 Rs exchange price for Michlin, MRF, Yokoma & 4000 for bridgestone.

So my confusion is if Michlin is better then why the price is lesser then bridgestone.

I want a comfortable ride, VFM also & the major point is taht they should be noiseless while driving. The stocktyres (Goodyear) is good & have no noise. But i want to upgrade them.

I would hate to lose money needlessly - afterall, this does not fall in the essential category... Why don't you think about the upgrade after you use up your first set (~40k km)? You will then be able to inject some novelty with the upgrade...

by altering the original specs, wouln't it void your warranty? also, if the 185/55 were to be used, what would be the recomended tyre pressures for F & R on the vista QJ?

Ask the dealer if your warranty would still hold post tyre upsizing. Some dealers are real messy about it.
