Hi All,

Maruti is describing the A pillar wedge in SX4 as "wedge in A pillar for better visibility" .In other words Maruti says it is an advantage.

However my experience shows it otherwise ie it is a bane rather than a boon.I would rather say it is pain as the front and back of the small side window next to the windscreen when combined completely blocks the front sideways view.

SX4 users please share your experiences and info about any modification done to reduce this problem.

You're right. I have been driving the SX4 for the past 4 months. And I do find that taking a sharp right turn becomes a problem as the pillar blocks the view. Once or twice I have narrowly missed running into a pedestrian!Yell

Now I have become careful and take precautions of slowing down the vehicle to a near halt so that I get the complete view before picking up speed, whenever such a turn is required.

I hope Maruti does something about this design bug.

I think Dzire doesn't have this problem .

Can existing SX4 owners do something about this A pillar ?
