I'm myself using Powershot and I'm very happy with its picture clarity. But the only problem with Powershot is its size. If your comfortable with the size, just grab one right away.

I tried this and I had understeer, I tried that and I had oversteer, at the end of the corner I just ran out of talent!

Couple of review found on the powershot.

1)

2)

I have used both the series(older models) in the past. I would recommend Powershot over IXUS although the former is bulky. Image quality is quite better in them.

Yeah Ami thnx for the reviewlinks.

I saw numerous reviews.was confused.

A1000 is the hot sellar. But the only disadvatntage apart from what Rachit wrote was that its body is made of plastic.I read it sum review in which it was written to not drop it slightly.

Ixus is made pf metal.

I men i m totally confused.

Feature wise which one will be best.

Or any other SOny model in dis range10-12K.

What i m unable to decide it the diff between two.as i have never used a digicam.

So Which tech is better Powershot or IXUS

Features would be more or less the same in both. Powershot will let you zoom a little more. Ixus has the latest processor. so on and so forth.

Have a look at this. These are first hand user reviews. This would help you reach a conclusion.

Also, do go to the store and try each one. (Test Drive )

Sony is again ok-ok types. Their cams with the Carl Zeiss lens, which is quite good. Worth a buy. They are quite comparable to the Powershot.

Get into an experience store and try using the cams. That is the best way to decide. Anyways all the cams under discussion are minimum guarantee.

Myself = sony cybershot user. That out of the way,

Camera Junoon type => get a Nikon/Olympus/Canon Digital SLR

Plain simple user => Sony cybershot

Stylish user =>Casio Exislim

Cheapo user => Mobile camera -> ask the subject to smile wider.

Don't get anything without an image stabilizer. Optical image stabilizer will be better than digital.

From the two choices you asked, IXUS 95 IS is more funky (colors, not easy to misplace), better in technology (Digic 4, scene detection mode) and somewhat easier to manage (built in battery as against AA cells for the Powershot - cells are a pain to carry and recharge). It has somewhat lower optical zoom though. But believe me One does not need a zoom at all in multimegapixel cameras. it is just for mischief, generally ( looking london, snapping tokyo Wink)

Can anyone suggest Nikon Cams.

Nikon Coolpix S210

Nikon Coolpix S220

Nikon Coolpix S52

Advice me the better out of these.

And then compare them with the above listed Canon models.

Thanxx
