dear summit singhal,

you can not be so cynical and bad mouth a company,i own a LINEA,the service has been excellent by tata, very courteous and friendly staff, immediate and impeccable attention to you and your car, they go out of their way to please the customer,i even had 2 free first services(i by mistake took the car for 1st service before it was due, they obliged me and did that instead of sending me back),i left the car at service centre for 2 days after service and did not take delivery, they did not say a word, compare this to the rs.350 HONDA charges per day if your car stays there,i have owned a swift eariler, the service was a night mare and the service guys even threatend me,for questioning them for all the parts that was removed from the car when swift was at the service station,tata-fiat service is 100 times better,so dont live in the past and bad mouth some body,or are you working with honda or maruti?????????,so brother dont keep misleading pople

Dear Bala,

Why do you care if I am foul mouthed about a particular company. Don't I have the right to speak the truth. Maybe I am a more sensitive person. Maybe I don't have too much money to buy a car and resale it cheaply for the want of spares. Maybe you are loaded, while I am not. Maybe you are having some easy money while I have to sweat to earn my bread and buy a car.

Why do you care!

Hi,

Can someone post a detailed review of GP? I am interested to know the mileage of 1.3 MJD. I think Dynamic/Emotion is quite good VFM. I am still stuck between i10, vista aura QJD and punto 1.3 MJD. Will TD them in a few weeks.

Don't go for Dynamic, as i understand there is no difference in engine (1.3 diesel) between the two. Either go to the base Active version or go for Emotion. Santhanam

I agree with Prasad's estimate of FE, it can't be that low as quoted.  Refer

AFAIK the cars have only started reaching the dealers. We should be able to get good reviews by this weekend.

I guess two of your members have writting their impressions about the car.

I have seen the car in a showroom in Karnal, Haryana.

One guy booked it in front of my eyes, even though I was haggling with the GM of he showroom over the lack of availibility of the Fiat Palio spare parts in their workshop.

The guy sheepishly asked the salesman, if he will be facing the same problem down the line. The salesman boldly told him, no sir, main hoon na!. And the guy paid the check.

Looks like some people have too much money to flush it down the drain.

Its only the poor people like me, who feel the pain when we are duped by so called multinationals making fool of Indian people.

I would certainly go for Grande Punto.

Good looks and nice features, excellent ride and handling and above all competitive price.

Add to this the fact that FIAT is already very serious about its service this time (refer posts in Carwale and teamBHP from Linea owners) and is taking pains to address it to make the service a pleasant experience for FIAT owners (unlike the days of Palio and Siena). And we all know that Honda is never reputed for its Service.
