Vote: Fiat Grande Punto / Honda Jazz / Maruti Ritz - Which 1 would you buy?

By the looks of it MS have another winner in the form of Ritz. In contrast to the Swift, I think Ritz petrol will sell in quite good numbers, compared to the diesel. Maybe 50:50, whereas in Swift its 35-40:60:65. I think i10 will be seriously challenged by Ritz petrol (more so if the FE is 2-3 kmpl higher, as claimed by MS).

I think many will be waiting for i10 diesel to be launched, which can give a tough competition to Swift D/Ritz D. But dont think it there are plans for it to be launched before mid 2010. i20 diesel is supposed to be launched in December'09. But looking at the price of i20 petrol, the diesel will cost 6-7 lacs ex showroom (which takes it close to Fabia price teritorry).

Maruti doesnt have any serious competition in the sub 6L diesel hatchback segment. Vista QJD has not been able to pose the serious threat it was supposed to. Dont know why I dont see too many Vistas on road. It has been 7-8 months since it was launched. Can see more i20s these days.

Which is best Honda Jazz or Maruti Ritz Diesel or Grande Plunto Diesel ?

On June 6th i got a from call two honda showrooms in chennai ....

One Showroom (olympia honda) confirmed me for test drive and told about the launch date and

vehicles are on the way for their showroom for launch.... i enquried about the variants models

and price quote? they said Only one Variant Fully Loaded Version available (Airbags,Music Sys, Abs,Steering Mount Controls, Eletricaly mirros, remote lock with answer back) and for Price 7.25 to 7.50 lakhs of on road chennai price....

After Few that i got a call from another honda Showroom Called CAPTIAL HONDA

That call made me very very excitement and lots of happiness to me....

Because HE INVITED ME TO VIEW "JAZZ" (My dream car) and after a few minutes i got a Courier from above Showroom and i saw a superb poster and superb booklet of HONDA JAZZ with all Details and Specifications .... After that i didn't have my lunch and i was in different mood... anybody can ask me on about the details who doesn't know about it?

Then i planned to my trip 2 vist the showroom at 3pm as it was 25km far from my house near chennai Airport...

When i reached the Showroom i was dispointed to see no Jazz in Display Centre and then i called the SaleS consultant and he came to me and invited me to view JAZZ in Godown... As he just 3 hrs before only car came....

As was so happy when i saw my Dream car with my naked eye in front me.... (DEEP SAPPHIRE BLUE) and Thousands of Color Blutterfiles flying in my Heart.... Then i Touched her Body and experienced her...

Then when i went i asked salemen about variant he also conformed that only 1 variant is going to be launched with all features and price is so jazzy he told it may be nearly 7.5 lakhs on road...he will get price one day b4 i.e june 9th and launch on june 10th...

That night it made me sleepless nights to me and nightmare was only about Price and the Fully loaded variant.....! Why Why ? Atleast i need the car not the airbags, ABS, music system, steering controls...  i dont know why....? that price for me will burn my hands and my heart beat.....

My vote for HONDA JAZZ it's simply looks stunning.

Have a strong feeling that GP should be cheaper by atleast 1.5L then Honda Jazz....

Also wish that GP after launch does not break as many hearts as by JAZZ...with the ultimate product & price....

GP would atleast come at a good price like they did with Linea.

Agree with you guys. Fiat sounds very aggressive and Grande Punto will be priced very attractively. 5.5-7.25 (ex-Mumbai) is what I can predict. But depends on the versions available. Anyway the base version should not cross 5.75 IMHO.

Banwari ji I am expecting the dynamic version to be priced @5.75. If its any more then its out of my budget.

I have already stretched my budget quite a bit, just to accomodate GP. Just hope that FIAT will pleasantly surprise us with the price.
