Vote: Fiat Grande Punto / Honda Jazz / Maruti Ritz - Which 1 would you buy?

I have a query. I am planning to buy a new car in 3-4 months time. Am waiting eagerly for the launch of FIAT GP. Suppose i buy it in sept/oct, what are rhe goodies i can expect from the dealer? I know we cant get  too much discount on a recently launched model. But what should be a reasonable offer, I mean free insurance/ extended 3rd year warranty? Apart from the basic accessoies (mudflaps, dorrmats etc), what else should one expect to get while buying a newly launched model.

Czn some senior members shed some light on it?

Well, that's a distant question - the car is yet to be launched - it is difficult to image the discounts & free accessories that may or may not be available after 3-4 months of launch.  It will all depend upon how much the car is in demand (successful) at the material time.

without giving it a second thought and further reasonings... my choice is fiat grande punto ! doubtlessly...! everything apart, will definitely go for it .. after its launched .. am waiting eagerly for d launch.. well when its gonna be launched folks, any idea?

the guy just mentioned it. Its apparently published by CNBC, so guess it must be official by now. I am eagerly waiting for it. 

Can existing FIAT/TATA owners share their experience about TATA-FIAT ASS in the past 8-10 months? I mean that still is the biggest concern for someone planning to go for a FIAT/TATA over an MS/Hyundai.

Has the service really improved in the last few months? Or is the same it used to be?

I am using tata indica vista quadrajet 1.3 MJD for the last 7 months, purchased it in oct 2008. got it serviced also on few occasions as per the manual from m/s joshi auto zone chandigarh, and i can assure you friend that the service is of excellent quality, at par with maruti suzuki or any other make available on indian roads like hyundai etc., but my submission is that you buy it from some reputed and authorised outlet only from a city or UT, you will not regret your decision of buying a tata-fiat may it be any model. i see people bringing other models of fiat also to the service centre and nobody has a problem with the dealer as i found out during my interaction with them. am also eagerly waiting for grande punto friend and will definitely buy one after the awaited launch !

Thanks a lot for your reply. Its very nice to hear that you are satisfied with the A.S.S. provided by TATA. I have seen your posts in the past and you seem to be quite happy with your Vista QJD. In fact Vista Aura QJD is one of the options I have in mind for my first car. The others being FIAT GP (would love to own it) and i10 kappa sportz.

I have recently (2 weeks) bought i10 Kappa, though not the sportz version. Till now am Ok with the driving expereince. Small niggling thing is vibration and noise arising while in low RPMs. Otherwise till now no issues.

If u r opting for sportz version, the only meaningful addition is the 2Din CD player. otherwise how much u desire for 2tone upholstery, rear viper and defogger is something u may consider. The cost differnce is almost 30 grands...

i suppoese launch date now confirmed.
