Hi all,

Just thought of starting an interesting vote. Three new hot hatches are expected to be launched in the next 2-3 months.

It may be a bit premature to compare the three. But just wanted to know which one would you want to buy, if presented with a choice.

Ritz will be launched next week and Jazz probably in June. Not very sure of GP. I think it may be just after Jazz launch.

My vote goes to Fiat Grande Punto 1.3 MJD. I hope its launched soon.

Feel free to vote

Mithun

My Vote also goes to Fiat Grande Punto.

I have seen this car in Norway and it looks stuuning..

Honda Jazz is very spacious from inside.. but overall my vote to Punto.

My Vote goes to Grande Punto. Since it shares Linea platform it should be rock solid

I have driven Linea & if Fiat keeps all virtue of Linea intact with Punto including price , they have a winner . Superb build quality , most spacious & pleasing interiors , all safety features , striking looks & above all MJD engine . These are few reasons to buy Punto. However price will be the most crucial factor to decide the fate of Punto.

Thats very true Ashish. If GP is priced as competitevely as Linea then i think it is a sure winner.

And by lauching Linea FIAT has shown real intent in competing and staying in the Indian market.

Going by the popularity of the MJD engine in Swift and other cars, GP with its superior build quality and space is capable of killing the competition in the premium hatchback market.

Just one doubt I have. Will FIAT- TATA A.S.S be able to handle the large volume of sales that Punto is expected to generate. That may be the one big concern for many prospective buyers.

I heard somewhere that FIAT-TATA are consideing delaying the launch of GP as they want to strenghten their existing dealer-ASS network to handle the large sales volume of GP.
