Interpreting VIN/chassis number - LETS HELP EACH OTHER

   I am a new user to this forum . And i have also seen that you are helping our community people to decode their VIN numbers .

  I have booked a Fiesta and this is the VIN i got from the car  "MAJBXXMRTBAR62872"

  I would highly appreciate if you can help me in decoding this particularly the Model , Month and Year of Manufacturing .

Hi Wildon, Repeating my post here for your attenion.

I have booked Linea last week and today i got the VIN no from my dealer which they say the vehicle is yet to be dispatched but already billed to my dealer 2 days back. The no is MCA11071B09022763LNZ. I understand this is Nov prdn from the info u have shared in other thread. Can you help me to understand the rest on the model , colour etc..? Is it normal that after the vehicle is billed it may take 2 or more days for getting actually dispatched?

That is not what is concerning. From your post, I read that you have already paid the entire money to the dealer and even got the car billed in your name. Is this correct?

Didn't you read SpyEdge's experience with Honda dealer of committing the blunder of full payment before PDI?

Make sure you do a thorough PDI before accepting the car.

I will not do a blunder pf paying them entirely before pdi. Ony gave them 50k for booking advance. The vehicle has been billed from the factory to the dealer. The dealer has shared with me that this is going to be mine.

Any advice in what i should check during pdi?
