Hi,

I bought a Tata Indica Vista Safire Aura on 30th March,09. From the very begining I am facing the issue in AC. It is not creating so coolness. Today after 1 month, I went to dealer for servicing. They are keeping my car for 2 days. I don't know what will happen.

Has anyone faced this kind of issue and was the issue resolved.

Pls help.

Thanks.

Roy

So..is it a manufacturing defect or defect in certain models?

Will the dealer be able to resolve the issue?

Thanks.

Roy

It may or may not be a defect, do take a firm stand on evaluation of the issue and do keep us posted on the developement.

Personal observation was that the vista AC was not as powerful/efficient as that on the old Indica's

I too bought Aqua Quadrajet just 2 weeks ago, and am facing a similar issue. Have vsited the worshop twice already, and they havent been able to fix the leak.

Today will be my third visit. Hopefully they will sort it out. otherwise the performance is reasonable.

But I find it quite surprising that a car with a faulty system was able to leave the factory premises.

Hi Saurabh,

Please let me know whether the defect is solved or not. I also bought the car in Kolkata.

I don't know if it is a Manufacturing Defect or not. Because I also read where the user is saying that the AC is very good.

Thanks.

Roy

I got my Aura QJD checked in two different A S S and both say there is no prob with the AC. But I feel, as do the back seat passengers, that the AC doesnt function efficeintly in hot conditions when it is needed the most. Since there is no word from TML, I am thinking of my next move. Meanwhile if you folks get a solution please let the forum know it.

Yes..it is true that Vista does not have rear AC vents. So rear seat passengers feel less cool. We will update you.

Btw, what are ASS and TML. Does TML mean Tata Motors Limited?

You mean Car Manufacturer's help ? Laughing

Thanks.

A.S.S- Autorized service station.

None of the hatchbacks have rear AC vents(not even the old Indica)-but those did not have the poor AC performance of the vista.

Yes Binoy, you are right. Afterall an AC should be designed considering the volume of space it has to cool and I'm afraid the vista's AC fails in this aspect.
