The price quoted seems to be quite reasonable.

Get the car checked thoroughly from a good & reliable garage/mechanic.  Also check insurance history & service history (if available/possible), and ensure that the car registration is valid & enforceable in the name of the seller.

Palio has higher maintenance - but I don't think it's comparable with Lancer.

By the way... Palio 1.3 2004 model??  There seems to be some error.  Please check/elaborate.

first look i was really impressed with the car but then everybody here told me against palio..like low milage.. spares and servicing etc..how do u rate this car??..do u think its worth to spend 1.30L for this??

I guess you mean Palio NV 1.2 Sport.  The price of Rs.1.30 lac is okay if it has not done more than 50K.  Bargain for 15-20K (Fiat resale is quite low).

Fiat cars have high maintenance cost.  It may give a mileage of 9-10 in city & 13-14 on highway.
