Ford Fiesta 1.6 EXi Petrol or I20 Petrol

My usage is 40 Km a day. I am confused between i20 or fiesta exi.

I am looking for spacious, safety, medium FE, medium safety.

Welcome any suggestions.

I would choose Fiesta - it is peppy, very good at handling and decent at interiors. Mainly it has all the space + boot!

Fiesta has better/peppier performance, handling & braking than i20.  i20 has very decent performance (all in all), has much better interiors/features - including ABS & Airbags - and is cheaper by 40K approx.

i20, vis-à-vis, Fiesta, can be considered as a VFM (value for money) car.

Test-drive both the cars.

if you have the budget definitely Fiesta as comparing these two will not be justified. Fiesta has a 1.6 engine while i20 is 1.2. If you look to pamper yourself and not worried much about the engine then go in for i20 else if power matters fiesta is the one to go for

For the same price, i20 gives the following features whereas fiesta Exi does not have them.

Fiesta EXI offers more power and boot than i20.

since you say you are more towards a fully loaded car the options seem to be clear -i20

In that case ABS, Airbags are not very useful.

If you are not in Delhi or northern areas where fog is a persistent problem in Dec/Jan/Feb, fog lamps are useless.

So all you are weighing is power/boot against immobilizer/music system.

I say immobilizer and music system can be fitted through aftermarket. Try putting in more power and boot through aftermarket route.....

Could only mean ' not too keen on these, so anything that doesn't absolutely suck could be ok'...

i think Fiesta EXI will be a better option. i20 is not a good car to drive. it is underpowered and looks are also not that exciting..

on the other side, the maintenance cost of Fiesta will  be much much higher than i20.
