by indica for taxis I suppose you mean the indicab. If you see the indicab it has nothing inside it. Just the engine, and the seating.

Vista as i mentioned i do agree with the VFM tag. You can say the CS was the most affordable sedan but how many do you see on the roads. Not much. The scorpio was launched much later than the saari yet you see more number of soorpios than safari. If you say VFM everything would come in including the interiors. Service network is a later part. Sumo was also popular but again as a taxi.  I dont say that TATAs vehicles are not good. They have their merits over other cars like a sturdy body and rugged engine but definitely not VFM else TATA cars would be the maximum to ply on road as personal vehicles than taxis. The vista is truely a VFM and i definitely agree to it. Maybe with future cars they will have many more like the vissta.

Safari & Scorpio was not in the same price band when it was launched.

Taxi wala's using a car means they are reliable, comfortable and easy to maintain.

i did not mean to say that TATA cars are not relaible, comfortable and easy to maintain. TATA cars have their own merits over other cars. When we say VFM what we mean is the overall package that we get in the price we pay for like the feautres in the car. In that context i said i dont find TATA cars VFM if the vista is left out

VFM means for same money how much value you get Cool

Compare Indica Xeta with say Wagon R or say Santro,

Xeta GLS is cheaper by almost 30 K. as you mentioned you get all features of the same segment at a lesser price then that car is a value for money.

See the premium segment: Honda Accord and Merc C class, apart from Merc name there is nothing that can match Accord, so accrod is value for me.

P.S.: Am a Merc die hard fan and wont consider any VFM if ever got a chance to have one. Tongue out
