Karthe- the service experiance is shocking!

Actually the company(here TATA) will pay for the charges for the free service to the dealer-so all dealers will be happy to service the car.

The behavior by the dealer is suprising-could you post the bill details(for what the charges are taken), also did they tear out the service coupon from the booklet?

You have not received the phone call simply because the service has been done off the record.  I don't think you need to worry about warranty.  Try Customer Care toll free number that must have been mentioned in the car's manual.  Alternatively, you can also use some facility available on their website tatamotors.com.

Valid point by Binoy - I hope they have not taken the Service Coupon (they cannot in the given situation).

Congrats on the new buy. I sincerely wish you have a great time. I was shocked to read about the servicing experience - you need to contact TML and lodge a complaint immediately.

As for your ICE upgrade, it looks promising. Can you tell me what size components did you install in the stock positions. Were the tweeters too in the stock position of the Dash? where did you keep the crossovers?

As for the headlamps - was there a mistake? I think the HL are single filament H1 or H7 bulbs. So how did you go about putting in 100/90 (H4?) bulbs?

The service people havent taken the service coupon.  Still I have it.  They charged Rs.150/- for general check-up & Rs.200/- for water service.  Plus service tax was Rs.386/-

I guess you mean total Rs.386/- (including service tax).

In my opinion, you should register a complaint (discussed before).

Yes, the A S S is bound to service your car. Let them not get away with this daylight robbery.

Mr.Anil, the crossovers for front was affixed inside the dash board with double side stickers and the tweeters affixed over the dash (have a look in my album photos).  For rear the crossovers were affixed inside the plastic panels of B pillars and the tweeters near hat rack behind rear seat.  The component is 5 1/4" as same as the stock speakers.

Yes, they installed H1 and H7 with more wattage and now the beam especially hi beam is very good.
