BMW 320d v/s 520d v/s X3 20d

I have been wanting to upgrade from an Accord v6.

I happened to visit the BMW Showroom, and saw the 3 Series and 5 Series, closely. The price difference between the 320d and 520d, is about Rs. 7 lacs. Not much of a difference. Not sure, which would be a better choice ??

Also, can any one throw some light, as to which is a never design, the 3 Series of the 5 Series, and which one is due for new model, in the near future.

Also, while browsing around, I found that BMW India, has also launched the X3 with the 20d engine, which is the same engine as in the 320d and 520d. One is not sure of the pricing of the X3 20d, and not sure, as to which of the 3 would be the best choice.

I will also check out the C Class and the Audi A4, soon.

Well the comparison looks quite interesting !

The obivious choice would be between the A4 diesel or the 520d.(on a VFM basis-if we can call the same so at 40 odd lacs).

The X3 2.0D has been lauched and the OTR price in Mumbai is 47lacs!(so...)
