Not really an advanced person. Have some knowledge on f1. Watching it since the last 11 years.
Talking about Ferrari it isn't just the car but even the management. The team at times have taken incorrect decisions. Else, its the reliablity of the car. KERS failed in most of the cars. Now it seems Magneti Mirelli has solved the KERS issue. The other issue was aerodynamics, the team has made significant progress on that.
For diffuser, I will ask you to refer this. This has pictures and everything, so the picture will be even clearer.
 I tried this and I had understeer, I tried that and I had oversteer, at the end of the corner I just ran out of talent!
