Hi,

  I am planning to buy a 2nd hand Baleno Car.

However i want it to convert it to CNG. I would appreciate if some expert(s) out there can share their knowledge with Baleno + CNG.

Also i would like to know some Good CNG dealer to do the fitment.

Regds,

 Jiger.

Jigar,

Definately you can go ahead and get a CNG kit installed in Baleno.Please make sure that you go for the RTO approved Kit and there are many Brand available in market now such as Tamesto, BRC etc.

Cost=40k-42k

However, if you are buying a second hand car..would suggest you to get it fixed after you drive it for couple of 1000 km.In this process you will get to know your car better and if there is any other works to be done on your car will get the priority.

The only reason i am asking you to do that as it might save you from getting a burden on your pocket.

Baleno+CNG is a big hit (Home Run).

Thanks for the reply Varun.

I noticed that u r a Baleno user. I am doing a bit of research in finding out about the monthly maintenance cost that might be involved in the 2nd Hand Baleno. The car which i am considering is run around 32000. Is it worth a buy? I don't want that i have to invest around Rs. 5K every month in the maintenance of the car.

Would appreciate if u guide me on the same.

a mere 32k run baleno is indeed a good bet provided everything else is new-like

fitting cng makes good sense which according to me can be and should be fit soon after buying without wasting money driving on petrol

from your community page i learnt that you are from mumbai .. at mumbai i trust only one retrofitter suraj auto whose particulars you can take from their website www.surajautolpg.com
