hi ranjan and satish,

ranjan, nice to know that you will be getting your linea in a fortnight, best wishes,i know at this time 2 weeks would pass like two yearsCry!,iam in total love with this car,i long to be inside the car,its that comfy, even if i have no work to go out i go out just for the sake of being in a linea, did you know one thing,IT CURES BACK ACHE AND NECK PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!Surprised,as you know being in our job at the end of the day we get back pain and neck pain,i would walk like a robot at home, come sunday,if i go out in LINEA for about 400 km and come back, alas!,the pain is totally gone, and for atleast the next four days of the week there is no pain at all!!!!!,so,its not just ADMIRATION GAURANTEED,its also PAIN RELEIF GAURANTEED!,and if you take into account the mileage of nearly 30km/l in highways for the mjd,SAVING GAURANTEED too!

About the battery getting drained,i think my mother did not close the rear door the previous time,so the light in the cabin was on and since the body cover was on,it wasnt noticed and the battery got drained(isnt that a nice diagnosis??),but i remember reading somewhere that in LINEA the light gets switched off automatically even if the doors arent closed,so in that case what drained the batterry???,but i did not touch the car for 25 days, may be that is the reason too...

... it happened that i for various reasons did not take out my linea or even keep the running in idle for 25 days(i did not even take the car cover off!)....

Go through the discussions in this thread.  It has tips on battery, tyres etc.

ill tell you from my heart ypositive,

fiat linea is best car under 10 l and is worth buying,in fact i wish i could buy one more, ride quality is simply awesome and you feel like a king, but interior plastics- very poor, indica and maruthi quality,i dont have complaints though,i even wonder if people can buy any other car, once they had a test drive/ride in a linea

ASS is awesome, people are very courteous, bend over backwards to satisfy the customer, very compliant and skilled and honest too,i was charged only rs.240 for orvm change

i even bet if you can buy any other car once you have driven a linea??????

ypositive,

i would recommend diesel if your running is more than 1500km/month(you know what, you running will be extended and you will even loose count once you own a linea,in my case every one is surprised that we have done 10000km in 5 months, you will for ever want to be in the car,its that comfy, its actually ADDICTION GAURANTEED rather than ADMIRATION GAURATEED,am just addicted to my linea)coming to the point, diesel may be preferred for its 85 bhp at 2500rpm when compared to petrol's 90bhp at 4000 rpm,and to its torqui engine(very drivable in city conditions, short gearing also is helpfull to a great extent),besides you can not note that its a diesel engine,so why petrol??,am not living in the city, but in a district headquarters but drive to chennai on weekends, ass is flawless, anytime better than a maruthi

congrats ranjan,eagerly awaiting your experiences

i said addiction because, since morning i've cleaned my linea atleast 4 timesSurprised, first plain dusting, then with a car shampoo, then plain water, then with a plain cloth,it took me an hour and my back is paining, still i would love to do that, isn't that addiction(we've owned 4 cars before,i had cleaned them only when they were put up for sale!)

Cool Ya Bala You are correct it should be ADDICTION GUARANTEED! Bought it about 2-3 days back...and am mostly in it. Till now am going to different shops and getting the accessory fitted in it. Have spent already 3 full days on the accessory part.  Once  I settle down I will surely write a very very long post.....
