Can any one tell me what would be the basic accessories that would be required on Wagon R Lxi duo? And out of them which ones must be purchased from MGA(Maruti Genuine Accessories)?

Is there any site whereI can get the price list of the accessories?

I was thimking to have the following accessories.but not sure whether all these will be really useful?

1. Under chassis 2. Power windows 3. Remote lock 4. Fog lamps 5. Music system 6.sun screens

The first three can be bought from MGA. Fog lamps in chennai? Go for them if u really need them. Music system u can get it from G.P.road or the ones on vadapalani 100 ft road. For the music system whats your budget?

Power windows necessarily need to be bought/installed from the dealer itself, as the ones available outside do not match the quality & performance of MGA - go for front power windows (will cost around 6.5K).

Rest of the items, in my opinion, you can get it installed from outside - will be cheaper by approximately 20%.  Workmanship will not be a problem with good & reputed accessory shop, as they have the required expertise (they sell/fit much more than dealers do).

If you get a chance please check with the Xenos showroom @ Nandanam and enquire for P/W.

As I understand, trustworthy / personally know accessory shops themselves suggest against buying PWs from outside - for the reasons stated before (it would involve more maintenance).

However, Sidd you may check, as suggested by Praveen - and decide thereafter.

All of them can be done from outside. Reasons as provided by Pankaj.
