3.5 V6 Accord coming end-march

Honda will launch the 3.5-litre V6-engined Accord soon. The engine is an all-singing VTEC with 270bhp, but Honda will probably detune this slightly to cope with fuel quality in India. Still, expect around 250bhp. This engine is mated to a five-speed automatic. The V6 version has thicker anti-roll bars to cope with the extra power, and will have 17-inch rims.
The last-generation Accord V6 was a bomb, and we expect much of the same from Honda this time around too. Expect an upward price revision of approximately Rs 1.5 lakh over the regular four-cylinder model.
