Cosmetic Modifications in used cars

Hello Everybody,

I have a Tata Sierra 1997 model in original condition.. I wish to modify / cosmetic changes to update its looks.. can somebody inform me about any such good workman / mechanic in Pune who can do such jobs.. Appreciate a feedback..

I am not looking at giving the car any sporty look or modify any performance.

To be specific I am looking for updating the existing features eg. adding relay to make power windows work better, redoing the front Light Bezels (Sierra had always problems when re-fitting the front lamps), Fine tuning the Rear suspension (selection of correct shockers etc).

I have fitted most of the parts with the original specificified brands but it no more gives the same performance...... may be due to wear and tear around (my car is 13 years old now)..

For this I need a Sierra conversant person (who has already maintained a Sierra and not only modified it).

Is the person you know has stopped working or he is still working as  free lancer / enterpreneur..

Otherwise I will have to think in other direction of changing / updating the parts to more contemporary ones. eg. install new power windows module itself, Change to other Spec for rear Shockers. This can be done at various TML Workshops in the city itself.. but I feel it is more of hit and trial.

Can you help me with a guy who can help me with some autographics in mumbai. I recently bought a used accent gls (2002)  black colour car.....want to give it a sporty look but budget is also very limited hence looking onl at autographics currently and if posible a spoiler.....maybe in future i can look at a sporting grill or something.

@Rachit, read your post and your association with the automotive industry. Perhaps this is not apt here...but I guess private messaging feature is not yet available on carwale. I wanted to know if you know any good place (around Borivali) where they will evaluate my car and tell me what all needs to be cleaned/lubed/changed. My car which is old is now starting to sound old (you know, a creak here, a rattle there)...especially the front suspension, its making a kind of rubbery sound (audible on a silent patch of road with a little bit of bumps). And do you know anyone who does engine modding?

Edit: Forgot to mention that I don't really trust them ASSes (pun intended).
