want to buy Tata indica for business purpose

i have heard about this car a lot.as you are buying this car for travelling business,i should tell you that this car gives 25km/lit on highway and 14-14.5 km/lit in city consistently.the parts like diesel filter and air filter improves the pickup and are cheap and can be changed easily.

As far as my experience with Indica goes, pick-up & accelaration of Indica V2 (non-turbo), the one you plan to buy, will be a little sluggish at full load (quite natural for taxi) & much more sluggish while AC is ON (normally used 100% by taxi).

Therefore, and for the reasons discussed before (competition), I reiterate... it would be better if you can stretch your budget a little & go for Vista TDi (turbo engine).  I recommend more so, as you yourself will be driving the car, I suppose (1 taxi to begin with).

Regarding the mileage, Vista TDi generally gives 15-17 in city & 19-21 on highway (depending upon the driving conditions & style) - while Indica V2 will give a little more, say by 1/1.5 kmspl (city & highway, both)
