ya abt Honda City..i was tryin to compare d idsi wid the i-vtec ...keepin the vtec aside.......

also between COrolla n COrolla Altis.......hmm..i went through the same comparison b4 askin u d question ...

n d difference dat u've pointed out is the only 1 ......

bt can ne1 explain us what difference technically means ...

n abt challenging u ....no no ....ders ntn like a challenge or sumthin between us ....its always

agree/disagree----

if factual disagree---more info provided----n ultimately we GAIN knowledge !!...

if personal disagree----always welcome---n wen accepted n respected n also compared wid other ppls personal choice--- thats called Learning in a Healthy Environment !!.....

Guess we were talking about Diesel. Wink

Talking about Corolla and Corolla Altis, the Altis engine produces a few more horses than the Corolla. Nothing much. A few small modifications on the engine can help to achieve that. 




I tried this and I had understeer, I tried that and I had oversteer, at the end of the corner I just ran out of talent!

Mustang aka Rachit....actually post 4-----(PAnkaj's post) gave rise to sum questions out here....dats..y ....

so what i had asked Pankaj was...if according to him.....The Engine's life of the ALtis will b slightly lesser than the COrolla....

Nope. It won't as the change is very minute. And as I had mentioned earlier, with advancement in Materials Technology, it doesn't affect engine life.




I tried this and I had understeer, I tried that and I had oversteer, at the end of the corner I just ran out of talent!

Can you elaborate a little on difference between the engine types (quoted below).

...there is a little difference in the technology - Corolla had Gasoline while the Altis has 1ZZ0-FE Gasoline.

I think (not sure) the difference is basically in fuel-injection system.
