Nimesh - the Linea spare parts price listed which you've posted on post#65 is not visible. Hence pls post the price list again. I'm thinking of going for Linea, would like to know how does it compare in terms of parts pricing. also if any one here owns a fiat palio, pls share afer-sales service experience & also how's availability of fiat spares @ tata service station? I heard they take 1-2 months to procure spares

Dear Suresh

How much is the service interval in Linea Diesal

Its every 15,000/- km or once in every year( whichever occurs earlier)

TATA has promised that the spares are available at their service stations and now the price of  spares of palio and other recent fiat models are reduced.

I can't believe you guys.

No one's talking about the Slugglish Drive of Linea. Ofcourse, Linea is loaded with features, but have you guys test driven both ANHC & Linea ?

Linea Petrol is the most sluggish car of this generation.

Linea Diesel is OK but not as good as Swift. Ok the Engines are the same, but I mean Linea is fking sluggish. You get jerks when changing gears, getting your feet off the paddle or accelerator - and like its struggling to run.

ANHC is a wonder driving car but  ripped off with features.

If I have to rate foroverall  Driving Quality, Comfort, Features & Value for Money then

Ford Fiesta: 8/10

Honda City: 7.5/10

Fiat Linea: 6.5/10

Nobody is denying the facts that you mentioned here.

EDIT: What would be the basis for these ratings.

You can see the above link if you want, by which I have rated the cars - Fiesta & ANHC.

I have not jotted down the points for rating Linea, because i just don't feel to write. I have simply rated Linea to 6.5 just like that - keeping in considerations its features, Sturdyness, Shape & Space.

Sorry If i am getting offensive. I know there are more Linea Lovers here then Admirers of Ford Fiesta.

They don't allow to post such big post - so its there.

Thanks for posting the link here. The primary discussion here was about Linea diesel VS ANHC and not the Linea petrol.

The post could have been split into multiple posts. BTW I didn't find it offensive.

Ford Fiesta - I like the car a lot. The petrol one is lovely to drive and looks good. But not a car I would like to buy. Reasons - Heavy maintenance & spares costs, FORD service centers, lower FE. Also I dont think the immobilizer is standard on all variants. Forgot to mention, the control and stability on a Fiesta can't be matched by any.

ANHC - It is an awesome car on all fronts. Maintenance is the same as Fiesta. Good FE. The main drawback of the car is its cost, which makes it a costly one and not at all a VFM car. But it is an awesome car with best-in-class FE and performance. Resale/reliability - no car can beat a Honda/Toyota.

To find a sluggish car - Drive the Ford Ikon petrol or Ford Fiesta/Ikon Diesel.

Wait a minute.

Lets be clear on this.  Both Petrol & Diesel Linea are sluggish.

Ford Fiesta is not Sluggish at all. Ford Fiesta Diesel is a wonder car -  Far better pickup then Linea - Veyr good engine response & control.
